Does Benjamin Linus have Asperger's?

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
I was watching 'The Man Behind The Curtain' today and young Ben seemed quite Aspergery, the way he hardly ever spoke and was awkward and his dad was all "YOU KILLED YOUR MOTHER, WHY CAN'T YOU BE INTO SPORTS?" (he didn't say the last part) and he had a bunny, but then again he managed to talk to Annie (who, and I'm going to be honest here, was one good looking little girl) eventually and they had little statues so that was cute and maybe Richard and the Others cured his Asperger's and made him confident but he's still pretty fucked up the way he tried to keep Juliet on the island to fuck her because she looks like his mum, isn't he?

He's the very model of a modern CRAZY FUCKWIT

His dad forgot his birthday every year, then when Ben tried to remind him he went on a crazy rant about Ben killing his mother when she gave birth, to be fair.

Didn't really justify gassing everybody, though.

That was Jacob's idea! Maybe. Richard never seems that evil but he was part of the gassing too.

And Richard seems like quite a rude house guest. I had him round earlier and he just stormed out when I picked up a book!

Yes Richard has been waiting for a creepy kid with Asperger's to pick whichever thing he was supposed to (not the knife) but he grew frustrated with Locke and went back to the island and liked the way young Ben looked after his bunny so mistakenl took him for the new island messiah the bastard.

Even as an adult he reminds me a lot of a pretty-well-socialized Asperger's guy I know.

It doesn't go away when you grow up, yes.
