I think people also overlooked the racist & pro-Jewish messages of Ghostbusters.
Winstone Zeddmore, the only black member of Ghostbusters is hired late as a token add on. Toward the end of the movie, after the destruction of the Stay Puft Marshmallow man, Zeddmore and his fellow Ghostbusters are covered in the fried remains of the giant sweet-meal enemy.
This is a blatant attempt to convince a young audience that a WHITE MAN is struggling to get out of every BLACK MAN, further enhanced by the already very Caucasian Spengler, Venkman & Stantz being turned EVEN WHITER by the same marshmallow remains.
Meanwhile, the Jewish co-writers Ramis & Jewish director Reitman indoctrinate the Catholic Dan Aykroyd into their conspiracy. Shortly after brainwashing Aykroyd, the circulate stories about his syndactylyl birth, and laser his eyes, also stating he was born with heterochromia. They also install an interest in Ufology, making Aykroyd some kind of Jewish web-toed, funny-eyed, dish-spotting poster boy.
The whole Zuul / Gate / Key concept was clearly a Jewish message of surpressing other religions & marching across all the major capitals of the work. How come nobody saw this?

I was only reading about ghostbusters on wiki yesterday, apparently Winstones part was written for Eddie Murphy, and the character would have been introduced much earlier in the film, but when he dropped out, they decided to push the intro back.
