My remarks (which don't really rise above snark, though some of you oversensitive types are taking them too much to heart) don't have anything to do with the Mine Field, or with LoNAF, or with my position here (it's admin BTW, not supermod :P ). It has everything to do with hello, you people are ruining a fun, silly forum by taking it too seriously.

LoNAF's elections are a breeze. The same people run, people take turns winning. I can run them in my sleep. No fuss, no mess. That's not a factor, so your "hypocrite" angle just dies on the vine. Same with the "elitist" angle; I'm actually trying to help here.

You're taking a source of recreation and relaxation, and turning it into work. Why? And if there's a good answer to that, then why not go the extra step of starting your own board? Why do you get to fragment TK and put walls around yourselves, and basically run your own mini-board on missmanner's dime? (I guess she can answer that as well as you can, but still)

I'm not looking to run anyone off, or to compare the MF to the BL to the XYZOMGBONC. The spam forums are supposed to be fun. In light of all the other fake drama that pops up on TK, why make even more for yourselves? I just don't get it.

And BTW, none of this will stop the floods. The best it will do is let people know where you keep the mops after they happen.

But hey, if you are enjoying yourselves, go for it. Mazel tov. I was just trying to be a bud. ;)
