This does definitely tickle my fan boy bones at what might have been...AND MY COCK LOL but if it was still on air today given how "street" Faith was getting in Season 7 she would probably be capping Vampires with 50 Cent by now.

Eliza Dushku has revealed that she seriously considered starring in a spinoff of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

The actress told SFX that she had entered discussions with Buffy creator Joss Whedon about a new series featuring her character Faith.

"I met with Joss and [writer] Tim Minear and spoke about the potential for a Faith spinoff," she explained. "But Buffy had... gone on [for] seven years and Joss [said] he couldn't play the kind of day-to-day role he had on [that show]."

Dushku admitted that Whedon's decision impacted her own choice not to pursue the project.

"It wasn't that I felt... it wasn't right [without Joss] but it was a contributing factor," she said. "On top of it, I had just played this character for almost five years [and] it felt like time to explore a different role."

She added: "I ended up making a decision that... I don't regret, [although] in hindsight maybe the talks could have continued a bit longer."

I think everyone was "over" Faith when she returned in season seven going on about her "mad skills" and Dawn was BLATANTLY hotter than her.

If it had been a Dawn and Fred spin-off, THEN YEAH.
 
The Trachtenberg effect can be clearly seen by the fact that Faith in Angel season 4 (sans Trachtenerg) is much hotter than Faith in Buffy season 7 (with Trachtenberg).
 
It was cool when she broke out of jail with Wesley by jumping out a window then he said "five by fave".

Alexis Denisof's jealousy is such that he had Joss Whedon plant hint about Willow's homosexuality before he was even on the show. You know, in case he was ever cast as Wesley and fell in love with Alyson Hannigan.
