well, it will certainly simplify who to cheer for next year. 
Also, is it fair to fire the coach (although he was silly to sweep out Becks at the get-go as a show of independence) when they have been absolutely riddled with injuries at the worst moments?

if they didnt have bad luck, they wouldnt have any luck at all.
O COME ON - the Premiereship is rife with internationals these days- who quite readily have been quoted as saying the English game is a much faster/physically demanding game than they're used to.
