EUROVISION

I was bored at work today so looked at the voting figures, which are published on the Eurovision website, and it seemed as though most of the votes for Austria came from the judges, who get a 50% share of the total.
 
Who are the UK judges anyway? Probably fucking Sharon Osbourne or something.

Did that Polish girl just sing "makes us proud of our natural SHITE"?

Most of Conchita's points came from places where the jury and the public roughly agreed on her position, but more points came from countries where the public liked her better than the jury.

(The X axis is a plot of the relative preferences of jury and public. If the public ranked Conchita number 1 and the jury ranked her 25th, then 25-1=24. That shows up on the right. If the jury ranked her 1st and the public ranked her 25, then 1-25 = -24. That shows up on the negative side of the chart.)
 
I was going to comment on the fact that the Bearded lady came from AUSTRIA for fucks sake. It's like North Dakota entered a bisexual communist.

Then Sausageman put up ONE OF HIS FUCKIN CHARTS. I have missed them like you wouldn't believe.

If I'd known there was going to be a chart I would've mentioned the caveat that I only looked at a couple of countries that I was particularly surprised by. I do think the judging system has it's flaws, though. They seem to be basing their scores on vocal dexterity, charisma and talent. Hardly in the spirit of Eurovision!
 
I used to watch it just for the Baltic states bitchy voting. FUCKIN SERBS DONT VOTE FOR THEM etc.

The fun has been taken out of it since Ukraine & Russia took over.
 
How exactly is Russia in europe anyway?

Might as well make it world vision and get the yanks and japenese on board.
