Back on the topic title, I would agree, if it was an industrial sized blender.
 
I think her music is awful.

I love that she could be some serious musician (classically trained, decent voice) but actually chooses rather to sing ridiculous synth pop and wear awesome costumes.

Now that's a role model.

She's doing better work than a lot of other pop stars out there, especially the manufactured ones coming from the Idol factory, who seem to own the world at the moment. I don't think her talents would be better served giving conservatory recitals in ill-fiting silk charmeuse get-ups.

She has a great singing voice, she writes/composes, she actually plays an instrument. I saw her on SNL and she broke down one of her hits to just her at a piano, and she started improvising lyrics tailored to being on the show and in New York...her momma may dress her funny, but she's the real deal. She's crazy, but on the side of the angels.
 
Also Michelle Trachtenberg likes her so I like her.

Haha...i'm not being sarcastic! She is actually a talented musician...and I don't mind her music, i'm never going to call it 'deep and meaningful' though, anytime soon.

I love her style...people are so boring with their clothes and worried about people will think of them. It's imaginative. I was going to be her for halloween this year but at the last minute I went as a unicorn instead.

True enough...the whole reason I scrapped the costume in the first place is that I successfully crafted her signature 'bow hair' look with several wigs put together. Then I realized that the son of a bitch was heavy, and I would be drinking heavily since it was Halloween. Heavy wig + sloppiness = fail.

So I opted for the much more drunk friendly unicorn outfit. Wouldn't really call it sexy, more like funny.

I took a 4-5 year old 1 piece zip up costume and modified it. The long sleeves went up to my elbows and the leg pieces hit me at the knee so they just dangled. But other than that it was awesome.

So I guess my point of this post was...props to her. Wearing bow hair is heavy as shit.

I agree. I haven't followed a lot of the explosive "Gaga over Gaga" hype, and I've heard some of the stuff she does. There is real talent there, and I especially appreciate the humor she shows at the rumors and frenzy that currently surrounds her. I expect we'll see her look tone down over the years if she has the staying power to outlast this first wave of superstardom...
 
I bet I'm the only one (other than SAUSAGEMAN of course) who watched the whole thing.
