Food Poisoning

I do not see the value in subway.

You can just get the sub, you don't need to order a side. I agree that a bag of chips and/or cookies is a boring side.

Have done plenty of other times without incident. I probably pop in there once a month for a cheese-steak sub. Doubt I'll be going into that branch any time after this, though.

I knew a guy who got food poisoning from eating a bad tuna salad sandwich & he said he would never eat one again. But then he spent several days in the hospital as a result of his food poisoning ordeal. I suppose if you do like you said, stay away from that particular Subway branch you will likely never get food poisoning again. I would still report it to that Subway branches Manager so that it can be investigated. There is probably 1 stupid ass employee there who left the tuna sitting out too long & didn't throw it out after it's allotted expiration time or the damn fridge wasn't cold enough & he didn't check the internal temperature inside that I am sure is required to be there & functioning properly at all times.

I have gherkin in mine all the time. In fact, all branches I've been to in the UK carry cucumber and gherkins.
