Founded by several ex-NFL players such as Eric Dickerson, Drew Pearson, Bo Jackson, and Tony Dorsett. The SFL planned to use the four-game mini-season (dubbed "Festival 2000") to test cities, fans, stadiums, the media, entertainment, and springtime American football as a product.

THE SPRING LEAGUE ANNOUNCES RICE STADIUM IN HOUSTON WILL HOST 2021 CHAMPIONSHIP

The Spring League returned earlier this month based out of two hub locations. The North Hub would be set out of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, and the South would be housed out of Rice Stadium in Houston. When the locations were announced, there wasn’t any information on ticket sales initially. Then, we saw the tickets go on sale in Indianapolis, only to find out that all of the games out of Houston would be closed to the public. That is, until today. Just now, The Spring League announced that this years TSL Championship would be hosted out of the South Divisions Rice Stadium. This years TSL Championship is set to air on FOX at 3pm ET on June 19th.
