Rawhide Gay Bar is a legendary cruise bar in Chelsea has been attracting the gay community for over 30 years and you'll find them in all their glory at this unapologetically badass jeans-and-leather saloon. There's a pool table (of course), Tom of Finland on the wall (of course) and wooden rails to lean against (for striking those no-fail come-hither poses). Go-go men, not boys entertain 7 days a weeks beginning at 8pm (6pm Sundays) and because Rawhide opens at 11am on most days, it draws the hard-core party dogs. Sissy boys in designer duds are tolerated, barely. Other hot things of note are the Sunday afternoon Beer Blast (Noon-9pm) featuring $2 drafts, daily happy hour daily until 10pm, pool leagues and the hottest Go Go dancers in NYC.

I'm generally scared to death of walking into the place.

I went into a gay bar on a dare with my girlfriend. We had planned to pretend we only spoke French which is why we were "accidently" in there.
NATURALLY the only Frenchman in Toronto was sitting right beside us, and latched on to his co-Gallic-speaking-gal-pals instantly!!! omg.
