I'm staying put. I'm on one of the higher elevations on Manhattan island, and I live near the top of a hill on my street, so flooding isn't usually an issue with me.
The one thing that would suck is if I lose power, seeing as I work from home. I may ask to use vacation days to make up the lost pay if I can't work tomorrow or Tuesday.
The rain is supposed to start later tonight, then pick up strength tomorrow and be in full force Monday evening.
Our bad storms come in the summer, so when the power goes out you feel like you're going to die from the heat. I guess it's probably better than freezing to death. YOU CAN SNUGGLE UNDER THE COVERS.
It could be worse I could be up in Northern NY(near my alma mater SUNY Potsdam) and get even worse snowfall. I'm only about 5 hours from NYC. My weather shouldn't be too much better or worse than Eggs. And I too live up on a hill(well currently anyway) so I never have to worry about flooding either.
