To elaborate on this morning's post-drunk breakfast adventure, I had 3 eggs scrambled with home fries, bacon and wheat toast. They serve it in a pan instead of on a plate. It is so good. And they have really good coffee for all the drunks coming in at 4:30am.

Sometimes, for a few precious minutes every few days, life is indeed good.

I watched something on the travel channel about food heavens.. anyway there's this place in Seattle that serves 12 egg omelettes.

My current TV addiction is Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network.

I love how the host takes a bite out of some hideously fattening platter of meat meat and more meat and says, "Mmmmmmm....that's MONEY!"

Oh I love that show too! My other favorite food show is No Reservations.. I used to not like that show cause Anthony Bourdain seems like a dick, but I started watching it and his show is really good.

Yeah, it explains why he can act the way he does on Top Chef and no one punches him in the face.

Okay...I've never had a drunken breakfast. I can't drink and eat not since the mad taquila/Kool-Aid/Oreo incident of '97.

I saw that show about the great food dives and the 12 egg omlette, I can't even fathom eating that many eggs at one sitting. But that hamburger joint in Boston looked soooooo goooooood.

I love Guy's Big Bite but I haven't gotten into Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

And finally, Anthony Bourdain is an ass times ten but I love his show, the man ate bar-b-qued iguana in Mexico. That's quality.

This week's D/D/Ds is not to be missed, there's a diner where everything on the menu is turkey. Plus the owner shows the host how to make an authentic turduckin. Massive, as Menty says.

Oh yeah I saw that the other day. The turducken place is in Sarasota, which isn't too terribly far from here. One day I'm gonna go there and try it. He says money a lot in this one, lol.

I really want to go to that other diner that makes perverse reinterpretations of classic dishes using turkey instead of beef, pork or veal. The menu fascinates me. Plus I loves me some turkey.

I had a 24 hour stomach bug on Sunday so get ready, it ain't pretty. My ribs still hurt from all of the heaving.

Oh and my mom's fried egg sammiches rock the box. YES mayo, with two drops of tabasco mixed in, YUMMMMMMMM.

Nice being sick instead of bulemic, eh sugar?

I bet turkey stroganoff is delicious.. I don't think I've ever eaten scallopini before so I just don't know!

I had a sausage egg & cheese Lean Pocket this morning. I love the suburbs.

The family is back from the football game, and my sister just took the bird out of the oven. Looks and smells incredible. Apparently I have mad turkey-basting skillz.

I lurve turkey sammiches! but alas, it wasn't my Thanksgiving so I aint got any leftovers..

cassie, anything different for TD in Florida? Do you guys have squash & pumpkin pie?

We have pumpkin pie, and sometimes we have squash. We always have cornbread dressing.. which I guess is just like bread dressing but I'm not sure cause I've never made bread dressing. Oh and we had a smoked turkey instead of plain.
