fubar alert

I just received a fubar alert email. Someone named Psilocybe sent me a friend request. I have no idea what a fubar is except fucked up beyond all recognition or something like that. AND I just got an email to update my World of Warcraft account account (2 accounts in the email) I don't have a World of Warcraft account that I know of.

OMG I'M BEING ATTACKED BY FUBAR VIRUSES OR SOMETHING.

You're a wee bit older than I am Cassie but maybe you don't remember that way back in the day making a mistake was also called a fubar.

I saw the title and I was all, "Man, I haven't heard "fubar" in quite a while..."

FUBAR's just one of many acronyms apparently used in the armed forces. I read through them on wikipedia once.

I keep getting warnings from the Bank of America telling me that someone has been trying to take control of my account, which is very odd since I don't have one. I just click the "report phishing" button and let good ol' Google deal with it.

Yes, that's what I think too, since I haven't joined a site called fubar, I also don't have a WoW account since I've never played WoW. I wonder how these places got my email all of the sudden since I don't remember posting out where the crawlers can see it. Unless they can crawl PMs.
