Do you own a Blue Snaggletooth?

Worth a fair few quid ain't they? Available only through a Cantina set, that was produced in limited quantities.

No, I never did. I know a couple of lads that do, though. I did, however, have a Yak Face, but I sold all my stuff in 1989.

of course back in the 70s and 80s they just called them as they saw them, snaggleface, hammerhead, yak face, today those same characters will not only have names like "ikshak", "Criptain flahwaggler" and "Fisto reacharound", they would all have EU novels centered around them

I ran into a guy who is doing a TV stop-animation pilot with star wars figures as the characters. The Blue Snaggletooth is the main character.

Anyway, yeah, they're rare. It's a mistake. Lucas arts handed the portrait (chest up) of the character to a figure modelling artist and he created the toy you see above. That was not what they had in mind. They later re-released the same figure with bare feet and some torso/leg alterations. The blue snaggletooth was given away for free in various sales offers through various vendors. Nobody wanted them when they were created. Now, they're INCREDIBLY pricey and considered a key item for collectors to attain.

OK, now that I've revealed my secret Star Wars toy fascination, I'm gonna go.
