I have a feeling there'll be an arrest in the case pretty soon. It's ridiculous it had to go this way, but then again, it's ok for the public to have this kind of national discourse.
 
Did you see how my local paper made it sound like the kid and George got into a fight (in the link)?
 
I saw that. There's a few down there who are insisting that the kid came back and attacked him when he went back to his car. The forensic evidence doesn't jive with that though.

What a fucking mess.

The next time a black guy shoots a white guy, the black guy will be arrested and charged with murder, as usual.
 
Evaluate my own post? That doesn't make any damn sense. I whip it the fuck out, give it a couple strokes for luck and shove it the fuck in. What's to evaluate?
 
Anyway, back on topic, my local radio guy flipped around today too. WTF did he say? Oh, yeah. We don't have proof that the little 17 year old didn't threaten the other guy.

I'm going to go around shooting people now saying it was self defense. How fucking stupid is this.

Updates: Zimmerman's been in hiding, but the police know where he is. He now has a lawyer(!), and there's a new lead prosecutor "starting from scratch". All the legal eagles in the know (including that rat bastard Jeb Bush even) are saying "Stand Your Ground" can't possibly apply.

So....why hasn't he been arrested yet?

And, why is Obama making public comments about how the victim looked like he could be his son? Zimmerman needs to be formally interrogated (fine if he has a lawyer). If he is charged (which he should be imo) and it goes to trial, all of these high profile public statements are fodder for more of a mess in jury selection and defense strategy. This is moving way too slow.
 
It's getting better, looks like the Police (lol) released confidential school information about the kid, leaving both the school system and the police department liable whether or not the leaker is discovered. The kids mom should be busy SUING ASS over that bullshit, because the laws about PI like that are painfully clear.

Did George Zimmerman have help from his father, a retired judge, in clearing his name in three separate arrests?

That’s the question that’s being asked now that more information on Trayvon Martin’s 28-year-old killer is being revealed. Robert Zimmerman, a former Orange County magistrate judge, recently wrote a letter to The Orlando Sentinel defending his son, who’s been dragged through the mud for shooting the unarmed 17-year-old last month. In the letter, the senior Zimmerman asks people not to jump to conclusions and insists that his son didn’t follow the young boy home as he walked through their gated community.
“He would be the last to discriminate for any reason whatsoever. The media portrayal of George as a racist could not be further from the truth. At no time did George follow or confront Mr. Martin. When the true details of the event became public, and I hope that will be soon, everyone should be outraged by the treatment of George Zimmerman in the media,” wrote Robert Zimmerman.
Now more info is being dug up on his “victimized” son through public records and revealing his checkered past.
According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence — a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.
All three of those arrests, however, were mysteriously closed with no semblance of charges for the Florida resident.

This explains pretty clearly why the crime scene was disturbed, and why Zimmerman wasn't charged.

Cronies, and they're all in on the coverup. You think this is ugly now?

Might also explain why Zimmerman wasn't even formally interrogated at the time, nor was a tox screen run.
