Look, I'm sorry the guy's dad died. That sucks. But why is he running all over the ACQ flaming me and others and generally making a jackass of himself on the same day? I sent back to Cardie that that was bullshit and they needed to enforce the fucking rules or give it up.

Well, his dad did die. He's been sick for quite some time. However, I must agree that this should be no excuse for him to take his frustrations out on others, and going around pounding the way he has.

He's been walking the line, and today he crossed it. G1223 has been suspended before in the past. He will be again eventually. The staff just feels sympathetic to him today, and rightfully so. He's an old time member, and we're...well, we're used to G's behaviorisms.

So his "behaviorisms" are excusable, but whenever we get smacked down for "orwellian slurs" its justfied?

And people are saying that there are no double standards on that board..........

No, his behavior is NOT excusable. I was just saying we know how he can be.

^Dude, on one hand you're saying "we excuse him today because his dad died" and on the other you're saying "his behavior today was inexcusable." You can't have it both ways.

Personally, I think it's okay to show someone a little lattitude when they're dealing with something so major. A little lattitude. As long as you show the same lattitude to others when they need it.

I see your point. And, I agree. I must admit, a part of me really wants to let him slide today. I've been down the same road recently when I lost my dad in almost the same way, so I guess I factored that in when I shouldn't have. But, you are right, and I stand corrected.

You know what Tom?
Yes, G stepped over the line, but boy, you're an easy target as you are so utterly pathetic and constantly whining. No wonder he picked on you!

Will they be giving all of us a break because of what was happening in our personal lives, being fair to everyone? Should I start posting personal and private information so I can get some lattitude to prevent warning and suspension when bad things happen in my life?

What they should do is follow the guidelines and get the guy off the board so he can take care of his grief and family business the proper way. His posting habits were no worse yesterday than they were 6 months ago.

He is a loose cannon.

You don't quite understand what's going on, do you? ;)

That's ok...

I think she (like most of us) understands exactly what's going on. You are making an utter fool of yourself, and the added bluster as you attempt to point fingers everywhere else has fascinating entertainment value.

See, I'd forgotten about how paranoid G used to be. He thought everyone was out to get him. Now he's sees a conspiracy with TKers. Yup, that boy's not right in the head.

Except for the fact that he has had whole threads devoted to him over here, and has been the main topic of conversation in many more. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean people aren't out to get you.

Plus the fact that he really does truly care about EI. I don't always agree with him but there is no doubnt in my mind that he cares about the board as much as I do.

Who cares if this G person cares about Ei, or whatever the hell it is. It sounds like he is TOO easy to troll. Not worth my time.
