There aren't any "both sides" to it. Nobody's bailing out the people who got rowdy at the capitol. Celebrities aren't raising bail money for them. Kamala-sutra Harris isn't organizing fundraisers to get them out of jail. D.A.'s aren't catch-and-releasing them.

We have to drop the idea of impeachment if we want "unity" to begin with. All that will do is shore up the Repubs. Article 3 of the 14th amendment will take care of trump for good, and it will only take a simple majority for once to do that. That's essential if we want to move forward. We can agree to disagree but Trump was not a good person to have selected for our 45th. You see the shit that's coming out on how they handled covid and all the other world stage stuff. Rejoining WHO isn't hypocrisy, it's what needs to happen in the middle of a pandemic that's now costing thousands of lives every day. Paris Climate Treaty at least is trying to get off fossil fuels. The climate has changed and what's happening weather wise is not normal at all. Besides covid 2020 was the hottest year ever recorded.
If government could try to at least get along who knows what could happen?

They tell, sure; they don't show. Have you seen how efficient at power generated versus power lost to production and maintenance renewables like wind and solar... aren't? Look it up; renewables are power sucks, not power generators. They're also worse ecologically than oil and gas.
The better bet -- on all fronts -- is nuclear.
