Greatest, funniest line in BSG so far!

I've only seen Occupation so far(Precipice is still downloading :(), but it was good TV. I found myself wanting to know what would happen next a lot more than I often do with BSG. Maybe that's because nobody died in this episode, well, nobody I was very interested in.

Good to see Gaeta break his Mr.Smithers act. It's funny how everyone hates Baltar, but they make no mention of the person they should believe is his stooge.

The only thing I thought was a let down was the smack you in the face parallels to the Iraq conflict. Obviously a story about occupation is going to have similarities, but even the terminology used was the same, not to mention the use of a suicide bomber. Still, there are differences that make the two situations very different, so if it is supposed to be an anology, then it's not a very fitting one. After all, Adama wasn't Saddam Hussein, even if he now looks like him.
 
He might be a cylon, but I don't so. If he was a cylon I don't think he'd be a sleeper anymore, since the cylons have pretty much defeated the humans. If there are anymore sleepers they'd be in the fleet somewhere.

Gaeta is a good guy, and he is hated right now for being a collaborator but I think he'll do something to get his good name back.. Baltar is history though, when they rescue the people he'll be left with the cylons.
 
Baltar's gotten out of some scrapes before. Maybe he'll rape himself back into the peoples' hearts.
 
I don't think it's possible, he signed a death warrant for 200 people. It doesn't matter that the cylons held a gun to his head, he still did it. I think he'll get even crazier, but that's what I love about him.

The cylons are not very lovable this season.
 
How come the Cylons looked like they were going down a lighter, fluffier path in "Downloaded" but from what I've read (havent' see it yet) they seem to be eviler than ever?
 
Well, they weren't welcomed by the humans, so now they're enforcing God or something. To be honest, I don't get it myself. The humans, with the exception of Galactica and Pegasus, pose no threat to the Cylons. I don't know why the Cylons don't leave the humans in peace on New Caprica, possibly watching over them from orbit just to make sure.
 
Yeah.. that doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. The cylons technology is way better than the Colonials, and the universe is huge. I think there's enough room for all of them now. They could easily monitor the humans.. I guess they're partially afraid that the humans will one day get strong enough to come back and wipe them out. Of course the cylons don't really want the humans wiped out completely, they want to become human themselves.

The only fluffy cylons are Boomer and Caprica Six.. Cavil is a total creep and makes the nastiest sex noises, D'Anna I think is going to have a meltdown and start thinking she is God. Sharon A. is fluffy I guess, but can she really be trusted? Especially when she finds out about Hera.
 
I wish they would also FUCKING EXPLAIN the whole God thing. Who is the Cylon God? How were they introduced to him? What ARE their beliefs (they just seem to be made up as the story requires them.) Oh and HOW DID HUMANFORM CYLONS COME TO BE ANYWAY?
 
I think the human cylon thing will be explained in the Caprica spin off. Yes I know that sucks.

The cylons are very like Christian fundies.. scary.
 
Galactica Boomer(well, they swapped positions didn't they? anyway, the one on Galactica NOW) is apparently all fluffy and friendly with Adama, but she's still in the cell. There seemed to be some books and other home comforts around, so it's hard to tell whether she's there by choice or incarceration. Either way, I agree she'll explode when she finds out Hera didn't really die.

Okay, I watched Precipice.

Didn't Jammer already mention he was going to be a policeman in one of the resistance webisodes? Looks like Kara's been brainwashed now, weird how she switched within the space of a day from hating to holding hands. The cliffhanger was good, but I'm guessing the resistance group with Sharon were the ones doing the shooting we heard. Clearly Roslin and Zarek escape, so either the resistance kills all the centurians, or they're distracted for long enough for our heros to escape.
 
I don't think those gunshots were from the cylons either. I think it was just a trick for the cliffhanger. I know Roslin's and Zarek aren't dead.. I've seen sides for future episodes.

I hope Kara's just pretending, because I think that whole storyline sucks.
