woohoo!!! I'm on my new computer. This is WEIRD. I need to adjust my monitor or something, and download some stuff. I noticed Vista does that weird thing when I do stuff. THE BASTARD. It's pretty.
You will be downloading and installing stuff for the next day or so, get comfy. Everything on the machine usually needs patches and fixes from the factory install.
Order some chinese and fire up your Mr. Coffee. Are you in a comfy chair?
I'm gonna use Trend Micro until it expires. I had AVG on my other computer and I liked it a lot. It didn't bother me with EVERY FUCKING THING.. Trend Micro has already gotten on my nerves.
OH and I'm installing Messenger at the moment and the fucker is stuck on 99% downloaded, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT SHIT? I may have to start over
I shouldn't have any Windows updates, cause I made the Geek Squad do it on their highspeed internet connection at the store. I'm debating if I should download Firefox again, I loved it so much! IE7 is really nice, though.. I can hover over a thread title and read almost all of the first post.
BAH! I'm gonna start my messenger installation all over again.
I always end up adjusting my monitor settinngs for days or weeks whenever I get a new one, trying to get the colours and contrast and brightness exactly the same as the last one, but never quite getting it right. Eventually my eyes end up adjusting.
YES.. I kinda hate IE7 already. It's pretty, but I can't adblock anything. ALSO I can't recommend Trend Micro, it sucks donkey balls. It was cheap, but AVG free edition is so much better. The dickhead at Best Buy actually told me that AVG gives your computer viruses so they can sell you their paid product.. I knew he was full of shit when he said that, but I got the Trend Micro anyway. It was only about $20 for a year's service. I don't love Best Buy anymore.
