It wasn't that thread -- it was the one that broke out in the red room.

The thread in question was the Candlelight Vigil for Aurora thread, and the information involved was LocustInferno's first name only, which was already public knowledge. No action warranted.

This is part of this thread:
Candlelight vigil for Aurora
http://www.wordforge.net/showthread.php?t=47766

This is the reason that the user gave:
MayDayAli identifies LocustInferno's real name in a rep comment in this post. I think the comment should be edited.

And what was revealed in Elwood's case by CM?

If it was all a pack of lies....

Commit an act of Robbery by threatening someone with a toy gun, and you're guilty of Armed Robbery just as if you'd used a real gun.

This really sucks. A perfectly good monkey topic derailed by all this useless fucking banter and unwarrented spamming.

What would be the point, Elwood is Bush and Listy is Rumsfeld. No amount of popular opinion or reasoning can force Elwood to fire Listy, we'll probably have to wait until right after it doesn't matter anymore and then he'll take action.

What extraordinary, irreplaceable service does he provide in moderating a forum that's worse the flak the administration receives?

It's a matter of pride. Elwood isn't going to let the rabble tell him who can be a mod. No matter how much damage that mod is doing to the BBS.

:(

If it comes to that they'll talk it over. Elwood will suggest he step down, Listy would agree, and the official story would be that Listy resigned. He'll never be fired outright.

He doesn't allow discussions about monkeys.

Why, when you can start a lynch mob? :)
I've noticed there's a trend at WF to take things to the extreme. If someone has a problem with another person, it's enough the accused acts innocent and paints the instigator in as extreme and hyperbolic light as possible to turn the tables.

It's not much wonder why issues get resolved at a glacial pace at there.

No one is talking about lynching Listkeeper. The people with qualms would probably just prefer he step down. It doesn't seem like a life or death issue to me.

"Quick verson: Meka and Eccentric had a falling out over something and "broke up," Eccentric went whining in the Shelter and over PM about not wanting to post here, Tamar felt the need to call Meka out on it publicly, thereby revealing personal information about the breakup and humiliating Eccentric in the process.

That all took 1,400 posts."
