I don't think people will want to look at a flaming skull for that long. I wouldn't mind another film adaptation of a comic book, but I don't think it would mesh as well as Spiderman or Daredevil.

And Nicholas Cage? The film will be geared for a younger audience. He's a good actor, but this thing has gotten off on the wrong foot already.
