Schoolgirl Khloe Leslie was horrified when her favourite computer game took her to a vulgar new level – and called her a 'f****** cow'.

The 11-year-old was playing Animal Crossing on her Nintendo DS when one of the colourful animal characters swore at her.

Her mother Leeanne, 28, of Inverbervie, Angus, has now banned her from playing the game, which is branded suitable for children aged three and upwards.

It looks like that the NPC is just responding to something the girl typed - and the part in blue is what she typed. SHE typed "fucking cow" into the game, and the character she was talking to just reponded saying it was not a nice thing to say, so it's the girl's fault, not the damn game.

It's definitely user-inputted text (YES I'VE PLAYED ANIMAL CROSSING OKAY) that either in the girl or perhaps a friend or sibling has put in, then she's been caught out by her mum and pretended the "game was swearing at me, mummy!"
 
I love the look on her face. As if she's scarred for life now and will have to maim and kill anyone she sees playing a Nintendo.

I'll go with the relative / friend suggestion. It's probably auto-stored the phrase in its memory, and spat it out upon activation much like predictive text on a mobile.

What a complete piece of horseshit story!

Well, it is for little kids. I tried to play that other animal, growing crops game and I hated it. Maybe it was Animal Crossing I CAN'T REMEMBER.

Yeah, I have it for Cube, I liked it for a while and it was nice to look after the animals and things (LOL I'M A GIRL) but then it got so repetitive that I had to eat jaffa cakes.
 
I love my cube.. I wish there were more games for it though. Did you ever play Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance? I thought that one was fun.
 
YES I'm sure I posted about it HERE IN FACT it was a good one, I liked that there were so many characters if they die THEY STAY DEAD and you can play it through again with another set of characters, sequel on Wii so YOU KNOW.
