He's a diver and a cheat. He is grossly overpriced. He has great footballing ability but he's still not worth 25 million. Waaaay overpriced.

I like Nakata and I think he deserves a better club side than Bolton. Drogba is overrated. I hate it when commentators & pundits refer to a striker's attriubutes as "able to hold up the ball". In my opinion, that means they don't score enough.

I'm going for Raul as the winner of the boot, with 6 goals.

I gotta get my satellite dish back up. I can't count on American network TV for these games. Unless the U.S. is playing they won't show any of the games on over the air broadcast. And I don't have cable. ;(

So are hockey players, baseball players, basketball, racing car drivers, golfers, etc.etc. - I'd rather watch athletes getting paid big bucks to play footie!

Most of the good African players play overseas in the Premier League, or the Spanish or German or French leagues. So you're probably not missing anyone interesting.

Well, that's some comfort...now that I think about it, I've probably been assuming African players were French or Dutch nationals. I'll pay more attention at this Cup to the teams as it'll be four more years before I see them again. I'll probably be surprised at who I recognize.
