I'd actually heard and liked some of her songs before I knew about the Asperger's. Do you think she'd play Mario Kart with me?

It's not a bad thing. Autism means that when the child was developing, the brain became overdeveloped prenatally. For some reason, the mother's immunity does not recognise any one that developed as from the same species and sends immunity to attack the brain. Essentially, the child is trapped in the penthouse, of a highrise under construction, and the scaffolding has been torn down. They tend to have hightened senses, which means all they perceive is magnified, frightening for a small child. They have little ability to form emotional bonds. Why should they? They're already in the penthouse and you can't come in. Mother notices something wrong because she's not getting the requisite hugs and smiles. She should ask herself. why does she need this?

My Delerium was the first one of hers I heard (found on youtube, recording industry!). I don't like the new one as much, but probably because they play it on the radio constantly.
 
They'll stop playing it when the find out she's got Asperger's.
