Good old Charlie Brooker...

Good old Brookie Charler.

Newswipe's on tonight on BBC4. Not sure if it's a new one, but I guess so since they just remembered to advertise it.

Yeah IT WAS GOOD but they told no one it was on like it was a big secret.

It really was. :(

I can't remember if Fuddlemiff shares my hatred of Tim Key so I won't mention my hatred of Tim Key yet.

lol, I groan everytime he comes on because I know it'll be five-ten wasted minutes that could have otherwise been filled with Charlie railing against Mary Knightingale and Alaistair Stewart. The odd thing is that that guy isn't just some character made up for the show like Barry Shitpeas. He's an actual comedy act outside of the show.

Dicks and shoes.

Newswipe was fantastic from beginning to end. WHY it's tucked away on BBC4 at nobody's watching O'clock, I'll never understand. Why bother making great tv and not let anyone know it exists?

People aren't interested in shows that don't have a panel of three judges rating everything and a phone vote at the end.

Charlie said himself that the promo deperatment thought Newswipe started later in the year!

This is so true! Those types of shows are taking over here too. I HATE THEM.

He is a very clever man.

I loved the last one. The tim key ratio was about right too.

It even had some *Shock* serious journalism in it as well. I loved the way he moved his finger on the desk afterwards to change the mood quickly as well. Sardonic humour at it's best.

Direct from the Newswipe studio, presenting... the iBurka.

There were lots of other innovative uses (whcih I can't remember.)

I liked the rant by the Doug Stanhope on voyeurism and the News.

Oprah Winfrey, the PT Barnum of the new millenium, and instead of a freak show they call it inpsirational TV

Is there REALLY an MMA fighter with no arms or legs? REALLY? How can that possibly work.

(He'd probably still beat Alex Reid.)

Kyle Maynard
Maynard has trained in mixed martial arts (MMA). A documentary film, A Fighting Chance, focuses on his MMA efforts. His amateur debut fight was at Auburn Fight Night at the Auburn Covered Arena in Auburn, Alabama on April 25, 2009. He lost his first mixed martial arts fight to Bryan Fry on a unanimous 30–27 judges' decision.

Guess what - he went on Oprah!

How can he apply sumbbions holds or strike WITHOUT LIMBS. Fuck.

Not in the least bit funny, but if you want to listen to the theme tune in full...
