GOP losing ground.

Well while the Democrats celebrate their great military victory against Bush, the islamic terrorists are working even harder to kill us in the real war:

How DARE those Arabs express outrage over artillery strikes! They want to hurt America because we are free! Even the Communists support them!

Bad dog, if you count the liberal Republican senators (whom the press terms 'moderate') who always vote with the Democrats, the Senate has already gone Democrat. It's a Democrat majority already!

Like in 1992, the Democrats have a chance now to show what they'll do when they control all of congress. It's an opportunity to build on or squander. Just ask the complacent Republican congressmen.

Democrats Take Control of the Senate
Nov 08 8:34 PM US/Eastern
By LIZ SIDOTI and BOB LEWIS

Democrats wrested control of the Senate from Republicans Wednesday with an upset victory in Virginia, giving the party complete domination of Capitol Hill for the first time since 1994.

Jim Webb's squeaker win over incumbent Sen. George Allen gave Democrats their 51st seat in the Senate, an astonishing turnabout at the hands of voters unhappy with Republican scandal and unabated violence in Iraq. Allen was the sixth Republican incumbent senator defeated in Tuesday's elections.

The Senate had teetered at 50 Democrats, 49 Republicans for most of Wednesday, with Virginia hanging in the balance. Webb's victory ended Republican hopes of eking out a 50-50 split, with Vice President Dick Cheney wielding tie-breaking authority.

D'OH! ;)

Hm, I wonder if the dems will be complaining about voting systems this time around?

Oh no this time there were no computer errors, minorities turned away from polling places, or hanging chads. The dems will say it's their doing, being so vigilant the last few elections but really whenever the votes are in the dems favor all is well and when they fall into the Repubs favor it was a terrible error.
...and exactly the opposite happened.

Total control of congress, and they haven't cured Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's yet?

So far I'm very disappointed in the promised miracles of the Democrats. One might almost suspect they lied to regain power...

To be fair, have to wait until they actually get into their offices.

I am extremely ecstatic that the real Americans have starting to being to posting in this thread. We must celebrate by selectively ignoring the UNAmerican postings here so we can get them the angery. :)

I'll give them a bit of time before I get upset.

After all, Bush promised to "get Osama" five years ago. And we're still waiting.

I think we owe the Democrats a few months at least. ;)
