Gordon Brown to use the word "cunts" in a speech for the first time

Mr Brown will use the word "cunts" - something he has been accused of shying away from - in a speech to the TUC in Liverpool at 1430 BST.

Labour has contrasted its commitment to defend the nation's ears with claims the Tories plan "savage" cunts.

The Tories say the PM is in "full retreat" on cunts. The Lib Dems have urged "serious proposals" to reduce the use of cunts, while a Conservative spokesperson deemed them "pussies, utter pussies - the lot of them".
