Halloween Horror Movies/TV Shows 2022

Day of the Dead (1985)
This is one I've seen bits and pieces of over the years, but I've never seen it all of the way through from beginning to end. I'm not a huge zombie fan, but Romero's movies are classics. I enjoyed this one because they're not just trying to escape the horde of zombies, but they're also doing experiments on them. The doctor reminded me of Dr. Phlox. For 1985, the makeup and practical effects are pretty good, IMO. I definitely prefer the "smart" zombies in this over your average zombies. I think this is a solid film. They just don't make em' like this anymore.

Creepshow
Before AHS there was this and before this there was the Tales From the Crypt comics among others. I watched this after watching the RLM re:View. I was more a fan of the Tales From the Crypt tv. show back in the day and when I saw this at the video store, I always thought it was a knock of. I really liked this one, nice little horror shorts with a great cast.

That was Tom Savini doing all romero's special effects.

The remake of Dawn Of the Dead was probably the best of them all.

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse
This is a re-watch. I remember nothing about this movie, but it just happened to be on so I watched it. It's got some funny moments and it's well written. There's a movie logic train all throughout. It came out in 2015 and already feels like a movie that couldn't be made today because of the misogyny involved. Overall, not bad, but not a movie I would ever pay for.

P2
Wes Bentley is a creep that kidnaps a girl because he’s lonely on Christmas. This movie was good for a while, but then it went on for way too long. Good concept, horrible execution.

I like that one movie where it is Saturday October 15 and Halloween never comes because its like groundhog day except its not, but its similar and it isn't just happening to one person it is happening to everybody, but nobody realizes it until something in the space time continueum sparks and it sets in motion a zombie rizing from the grave and cute little bat like creatures that birth from eggs in the ground like rattlesnakes, except they are bats and they are warm and fuzzy at first and look like cute little mice but then they evolve into scarier looking creatures but only after it rains, but how does it rain because it never rains on October 15th except after the flux capicitor breaks down.
