Silly little rodent. I meant in terms of sending US troops in to meddle with this crap. Not pulling out completely and leaving the oil ripe for the taking by China and Russia. Even now, China's thirst for oil has driven up prices.

It's pretty simple, really. Does the U.S. have a friend in Israel, or Palestine? Not much of a choice there. The Palestinians were dancing in the streets in JOY when they heard what happened on 9/11.

Bomb the entire region into dust, take anyone who tries to get all terrorist-y over it, gather them up in the rubble, turn television cameras on them and burn them alive. Arab, Jew, man, woman, child, make no distinction. Broadcast them on al Jazeera, print the pictures in Ha'aretz, tell the entire region (and anyone in this country whose allegiance is more in line with the regimes of that region than with their countrymen here) that We Have Had Enough.
