HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY ERIN GO BRAGH AYE PFFT OOP ACK SHILELEGHKNOB

All In With The Nuts
Just not in the spirit this year. Pity.

Happy St Patrick's to YOU TOO! I've never really been into St Patrick's but I'm not Catholic either. It's probably a sin for a Baptist to celebrate cause of the the drinking and dancing with leprechauns.

I think I'm supposed to hate Catholics because of the school I went to, or something.

Only a privileged few of us knows what "gettin' the pot o'gold" truly means.

Q'PLAH sounds almost Gaelic, eh?

lol!
I know. I'm fighting a bug and prolly won't even have my yearly Guinness at the pub tonight. we'll see how it goes, yah.

I'm not in the spirit either. But the spirits will be in me if I have anything to do with it.

ye gods! listen to y'all!
I may have to rally just cos

This year I have been trying to educate everyone around me who calls the holiday "St. Paddy's Day", not knowing that in doing so they are actually using a slur against the Irish.

It's kind of like calling Martin Luther King Day "Uppity N****r Day" -- at least if it's an Englishman calling it St. Paddy's. But try and tell an American something...

well in that case....!

nay! it's not a slur if an Irishman (or someone descended from 18 generations ago)says it!

THE MEDIA DOESN'T HAVE YOUR BEST INTERESTS AT HEART!

Which saint's day is it you get to take heroin on?

Who is the most Irish person in this thread so far?

My Grandfather is Irish so I'm guessing ME.

OH CURIOUSA2Z HAS GONE AND DONE IT WITH THE GREEN FONT, JESUS WILL COME AFTER US FOR SURE!

Most Americans claim Irish decent these days... I only know that I'm after the lucky charms!

I am only 3/4ths Irish, thanks to my maternal grandmother.

My father's parents were native Irish, but they died before I was born so I never knew them. My mother's father was Irish, but married an English-German woman.

Um, I mean, erm WE DO NOT DISCUSS IT WITH OUTSIDERS!
