Y'know what, I'll say it: The first two episodes were pretty good.
They work so so so so so much better as short 25min episodes than as a full film, especially as it seems they'll be focusing on things other than the zany adventures of Anakin and Ahsoka from time to time.
Yep first two episodes good, droid army not always comedy relief, as witnessed by them casually cutting their way into an escape pod and spacing the survivors while cracking a joke.
I did wonder though, when the ion pulse was heading for teh ship, and they were weaving in and out of the wreckage, why they didnt just move out of the way of the pulse, I mean it wasnt tracking them was it?

Just watched the first two: pretty good! Yoda was fun in the first episode and it's always enjoyable seeing him kick some ass and the bit with him talking to the Clone Troopers about the Force was nice. And he totally pwned Ventress.
Second episode was better, I thought. Was nice to see that they're not scared of showing DEAD BODIES (even if they are clones) and Anakin is much more likable in this than in the movies (lol Hayden out-acted by CGI etc). Ahsoka seems to be working out quite well too and I liked when she used the Force to find Plo Koon.
Just watched episode 3 (no, not THAT one, lol omg): another good episode. The animination is quite sexy, the space whales looked great. Ahsoka was a bit annoying when she kept whining and her line delivery isn't the best, but that can be fixed. Padme was in the preview for next week! Maybe we'll see Luke and Leia's conception in animated form!
I watched the first episode and thought it was pretty good. The droids did get a little annoying and if it's even possible their voices were even worse than in the movies but it's not the end of the world.
Thought the animation was predictably fantastic and I really dig the style. It was a simple story and it was great seeing Yoda kick ass all over the shop but I thought the clones were well used and I also liked the cave scene. Gave the episode a little more depth.
I'm going to watch the next two episodes now and I will undoubtedly have opinions on them as well.
There are some nice character development scenes going on here and the pace is tight and punchy. I like the way it's looking so far.
What's really important though is if Clone Wars is canon. I think it has to be, right? It's George Lucas' show so that immediately elevates it over anything else in the EU.
