Unluckiest Charm in the Box
Yes, :high5:

The First one that came out in 1980 ROCKED!!!, The second one (not so much) but was still cool.

Now they have OFFICIALLY announced that a THIRD movie is in the works and hopefully should be finished soon.

Here is a copy of the e-mail I received...

Dear friend of Heavy Metal,

We mentioned we had news coming out of San Diego and boy do we have news!

Robert Rodriguez to develop Heavy Metal Animated Film

Yesterday afternoon director Robert Rodriguez and Heavy Metal Publisher, Kevin Eastman took to the stage in San Diegos famed Hall H to announce the development of a new animated Heavy Metal movie and media project. Not only has Rodriguez secured the rights to make a new Heavy Metal movie he is asking fans to help in the process. You can submit ideas, trailers, drawings you name it. The official statement on the project can be enjoyed by clicking here BadAss Digest.

As Robert Rodriguez says "Some of the stories we're working on already, but I'm leaving a slot open for the audience who has been so good to Heavy Metal and who has always believed in Heavy Metal and what it could be. And i think it would be great if we all participated together and made this the best version of Heavy Metal that ever existed".

We are delighted to be working with Robert and Quick Draw Studios and will keep you posted. A quick Google search produces hundreds of links relating to this fantastic news - happy surfing!!
