I'm late to the party but here are my thoughts anyway...
Okay, so you've got a huge, secluded facility filled with doctors and scientists working on top-secret unsanctioned research or however they worded it and those three assholes that were in quarantine whined like six year olds instead of understanding the need to keep them out of the general populace. Shut the fuck up already and kill that fat dickhead with the glasses. Then the group congregating in the hall when the other infected person collapses and starts asking stupid questions instead of sealing themselves in their rooms away from the rot and disease. Jesus Christ, people. I'd be hiding in my closet, not wandering around whining about everything.
Why does Billy Campbell whisper/speak?
That Japanese actor is kind of hot, too bad they're making him the evil, mad scientist.
The CGI animals are pretty good for a TV show. Not very believable but better than a lot of movies I've seen.
Seriously, what's with the 60s elevator music?
I can't see this show having legs, how many times can you see someone get infected and run around with black mucus dripping out of the corners of their mouths?

Finally watched it.
I got bored 20 minutes in and started playing my 3DS. So I might have missed some details.
I liked the monkey graveyard.
A woman said "frak" at some point.
The guy from The Wolverine seems like the best actor. Most of the others didn't stand out (yeah one of the girls was cute.)

I agree that the third episode was better, but it's still hardly must see tv. I can't remember anything that happened a day later. Some people are infected, some aren't, Anna Kendrick girl had a thing on her back?
