I don't want to say "I've got a bad feeling about this" because it's actually good news that they're trying to get good scripts before going ahead with the show. It's better than just rushing it out with poor scripts. HOWEVER, it is a bit concerning that they want to cut it from six episoes to four and it just looks to me (without me actually knowing anything) that they don't really have enough story to fill the show? Like they just decided "we'll do an Obi-Wan show because everyone likes Ewan McGregor!" then realised they didn't know what to actually have Obi-Wan do. But hey maybe the new scripts will be great and we'll all love the finished product in three years or whenever it's finished.
I watched this, it was pretty good. It's a shame they couldn't get more of the original actors back (no Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, etc) but maybe that was for covid reasons. Or because it was just LEGO. It was cute and there were a few parts I laughed out loud ("MACLUNKEY!") So that's good for a LEGO Star Wars Life Day special.
I also liked it, I thought Hammill was voicing Palpy, but it was someone else.
I know the time travel in this is most likely non cannon, but it was in rebels, and we are about to see a live action version of someone who benefited from it.
Wouldn't surprise me if we saw something like this happen in a movie soon, like for the 50th anniversary.
