It is only 36 inches. Since I saw that gigantic 73 inch tv, I really want it but until the kid is through with all her needs for awhile, I just can't justify spending $2,000 for a TV even if the UO monsters would look incredibly awesome on it. Maybe next year.

They dont provide them generally when you buy the tv and they're essential for any kind of 1080 hookup, which all the games run and some of the streams too. nYou also have to do a litle programming for the tv to talk to the wii and the wii to talk to the computer. btw Dont get ripped off, Best buy will try to tell you you need to spend 80 bucks for the right cable and they all lie boldfaced about it. You can get the proper 6ft hdmi for between 5-20 dollars. Dont spend more. You also have to connect the wii to the computer via ethernet cables. (the out from the wii to the in at the computer. These are bigger and thicker than regular phone cables and have little lights on them that glow when they're hooked up. That's how you get the streaming service to your flat screen without a wireless setup.

Yeah, now you are getting technical on me. My brain doesn't think like that. My eyeballs are starting to roll back into my head. I have a tech team at work. I tell them what I need and then I sit in meetings to purchase software and then they have meetings without me to talk about hardware and then I go back to meetings and see if what they've all come up with meets my needs. Then I have attorneys ask me if I understood what they were talking about and I'm honest - I understand the end user stuff real well.

My daughter might be moving out soon and if she does I'm thinking about getting rid of my big old house and finding me a tiny little townhouse with a covered patio. This yard work is killing me. Was out working in the back jungle earlier tonight and found a couple of dead critters back there. I think one had been a black and white cat that I've not seen around here before. Found part of a possum too. Ewww. I'm going to wait on more technical stuff at home until the kid moves for sure and I move too. If I lose my job next fall, I might move out of this area all together.

I take my laptop with me and use the guest wireless when I'm at the hospital - which has been quite a lot the past few years. I also use the free wireless at a couple of parks and fast food restaurants around here. I have cable internet at home. With the new developments, I may hold off on trying to go wireless at home for at least awhile.

I am not good looking. My wife says I am, but she's crazy and I think she's lying. I'm pretty sure she married me for a green card, but I'm ok with that. I married northern European (Swedish) so that means she puts out in trade.
 
I like the new TV. Lots of free channels. A bunch are still not ones I'd watch - religious, shopping, sports, Mexican - but, at least I'm not having to pay for them. I still get ION Tv and all the local channels. I haven't been without cable or satellite TV in a few decades so I don't really know what was considered the regular channels before the digital conversion.

The picture isn't so much better than my other TV that it is worth the hassle but it is a very nice picture.
