Heroes

I thought he was trying to destroy it, but it's hard to tell.

The eclipse didn't start most of the current Heroes powers, but you may remember that Adam (as Kensei) only gained his healing power after the eclipse in feudal Japan, so it's not unprecedented for the eclipse to be significant. I wonder if the eclipse in the pilot episode started up the powers of Micah's cousin and those annoying twins? Maybe there were yet more eclipses that started each other generation of Heroes powers?

In next week's episode the eclipse makes them all lose their powers, weirdly.

None of it makes sense! If some of them were experimented on at birth, or whenever, and that's why they have powers.. what can an eclipse possibly have to do with it? Also, will Arthur lose his powers too? Someone should take the opportunity to stab him to death, BUT THEY WON'T.

One would think he might loose his powers.

I liked that Nathan didn't fall for the "come give your dad a hug" trick, at least.

Yeah, that was good. He still let his dad touch him.. maybe by then Arthur decided not to suck his powers out of him. Flying isn't that great of a power compared to some of the others anyway.

It must take longer then just a touch.

When he took whats his face who had powers like Clair's, he grabbed a hold of the guy.

When did Arthur get the absorbing power? Becasue in the flashback episode he only seemed to have the mind-altering type power.

Well he sucked the life out of that guy Hiro dug up. That was the first I knew of about any of his powers.

They were experimented on at birth to give them powers because the Company/Pinehearst wanted a more reliable means to give people powers other than eclipes.(?)

But they lost the formula to do that, and it's what Mohinder's trying to replicate, right?

I always stop listening when Mo's on screen.

GREEDY MO.

Ho Mo

Always hogs the last lines of the show.

In that silly deep voice that he has.

"What is evolution other the wonder of God's great creation washing over us like the souls of babies?"

Stop channeling Mohinder!

I KNOW :rwmad: that's why it doesn't make sense for the eclipse to have an effect on their powers.

and ALSO

LEAVE MOHINDER ALONE! He is sexy, and misunderstood. I WOULD GLADLY HELP HIM WORK ON HIS FORMULA, EVEN IF THAT MEAN EXFOLIATING HIS FLAKY SKIN BEFORE WE HAVE TEH SEX.

"Exfoliation... man's unspoken truth is that he can't live without it, it is his ultimate and undeniable destiny, but what about ducks?"

Ducks better keep their quackers off MOHINDER!

He is neither sexy nor misunderstood. I think we all understand him and how lame he is.
