Oh, I thought they were able to inject specific powers now, and that's why everyone was flying in the future. Maybe that's just a lot of people's natural talent waiting to be released? I DON'T KNOW.
So how did giving everyone powers destroy the world in the future anyway? Hiro saw a big tidal wave about to destroy Japan. How did he know it was someone injected with powers who did it? It could have been someone already with powers. Or just a tidal wave.
I think someone just went nuclear, possibly someone with the existing nuclear powers we saw in season one, coupled with someone with Ando's multiplier.
Nathan was flying with Parkman on his back, when Parkman fell off, crashing into a fault line which caused a chain reaction of earthquakes and volcanoes and stuff.
Yeah, I always wondered who that kid's mother could have been. But later on I thought "Hey, I could see electric girl doing this, if Sylar stayed good!" And in that timline, where Sylar didn't revert back to "the face of evil" she very well mayhave been that kid's mom. But that ain't gonna happen now.
I dunno, I kinda found "good Sylar"...er..."Gabriel", I mean...actually very interesting. I was even kinda rooting for him after a while. But I knew they wouldn't keep him that way indefinately - bad Sylar is just too good a villian to abandon.
Was she ever the catalyst? Hiro went back in time and took it from his mum before she could give it to Claire. He also cut the piece of paper with the formula and it was cut in the present day BEFORE Hiro went back in time and cut it. So the paper was "always" cut that way and Hiro was "always" the catalyst. But then they change how time travel works episode to episode.
