HeroicFool Indefinitely Suspended...

What I have seen so far of your response to my e-mail has hardly inspired, Gode.

You guys are playing a game instead of making an honest effort to rectify the situation.
 
I'm not entirely surprised by the fact that you aren't inspired by the response. I have to say I was someone underwhelmed by what you sent.

As much as I'd like to see this fixed, It's not going to happen if all you're going to do is send one-line emails.

I'm off to bed, just... I don't know, just think about actually explaining your position rather than assuming that posting it in TK is sufficient.

You are all well aware of my position.

Pretending that you know nothing of it is playing a game. It's a lie.

Even if you have only read what was posted in my name at EI you know what I have to say about this situation enough to determine what my position is here...

You pretend none of this exists.

Why?

You want me to come to you and explain every conceivable thing that you guys think you have on me? How am I supposed to know everything that you are accusing me of in your private room?

I told you all.

Ask what you would know of me and I will answer. I have nothing to hide, from you or anyone else.

I wish we could all say that.

He says stuff to your face. You might not like it, but if you ask him why he is angry with you, he'll tell you in no uncertain terms. I like that in people.

Course I like to *be* that way too, so I suppose also I like it because I like the privilege of speaking my mind too.

I still miss his grumpy self telling me I need to do this or that. I miss him a lot. I hope he's doing well and enjoying his family and real life.

There are a couple of people, I just admire so much that even if they were angry with me, I'd like them. Drew is one of them. Nox [Hawk] is another. Decker from TK, and even HeroicFool [yes, even you hon]. Sometimes people really do agree to disagree, but the respect [at least on my end] is still there.

And trust me, I've pissed a couple of these men off royally. ;)

I totally understand where you are coming from. I personally appreciate those kinds of folks myself, who tell it like it is but have the ability to... agree to disagree and move on with life.

There was an incident that took place between Cait and I in which I was so smoking pissed at her that I am sure there was actually steam coming from my ears and flames in my eyes... Thank the gods that she is less stubborn than I am and we are both the kind of people that can let bygones be bygones.

Once I love someone I can't seem to ever stop, no matter what might come between us, what harsh words were exchanged, or how much time has passed.

I feel truly blessed when I meet someone like Cait, Lil, Drew, RuReddy and others...

Damn you all I'm getting sentimental now.

Believe this, a friendship with someone that tells it like it is, is more binding and powerful than a million "friends" that tell you what you want to hear or agree to avoid conflict.

A person often has the veneer of civility that is so welcome at EI and is a far worse person than they think us to be for speaking our minds so frankly.

With us you know what you're getting and you know where you stand with us. With people like Rhea and Shalamar... you will never know them in the slightest and they will never allow you to. They will hide their truth behind pleasantries and false smiles all the while thinking more disgusting things than I can ever post here at TK.

It's good to know that some people can see beyond the harsh words that I sometimes spew in anger and in retribution. It more than makes up for the ones that never will.
 
LOL, oh I knew it was coming, and expect the one week ban soon enough. But it is convenient isn't it. Reset the poll, just as I'm going to be banned. Oh well.
 
Its usually instantaneous when I get a warning, and a ban is tripped. I almost thought that they had an autoadmin-type thing like TBBS does.

But I guess that usually when I misbehave, they need to dump me quick or else more blood will be spilled.

Yeah you guys sure opened my eyes to the nature of Ei...and the place COULD be a really cool bbs if things were to ever change..but they won't.

We were even at one point, then I got banned for three months. So, I'm thinking that he's got a three month ban right now. But, I don't know if they are keeping good tabs on that sort of thing (other than TKers, of course), or when his warnings drop off the year count, or whatever it is.

To their credit, they actually permit moderation decisions to be parsed and dissected almost ad nauseum by the membership. In my view, they are not as draconian as some other BBS's on the internet.
 
Well, I did post something in the vote section, but per usual, I was completely ignored. They did, however, go back and insert the link I asked about. But other than that, ignored again.

Blade -- yes, it could be a really fantastic board. Unfortunately, they have some real issues that won't ever be resolved because they don't believe they exist. It doesn't matter if you bring up what the problems are, no one listens. And that's okay, because that's the way the majority stockholders like their board.

And good luck with the Watchdog thing. You probably shouldn't have told them you were from TK. That sort of lessens your chances.

I'm not condemning anyone, Gode. But, I do have my doubts as to the staff reinstating HF. Just my opinion. I'll be happy if I was to be proven wrong. I'll do backflips with bells on my toes, and rings in my nose, then do the dance of joy. :)
