House of the Dragon season 2

The dragons did dance! It's fun at first watching them bite and burn each other, but then you feel bad when they cry and stuff. Aemond's big dragon is like cheating. They should stick five regular dragons together to fight it.

Daemon just sitting the whole war out to be mad in a haunted castle, what a legend.

Aegon's actor is really good, you feel sorry for him even though he's an idiot and kind of evil. It was nice when his dragon nuzzled him.
 
Daemon should probably start sleeping in another bed than the haunted magic tree one.

They show a lot of castles that we saw in GOT but they look a lot better now, which I guess shows how much castle CGI has advanced in the last decade.

If they've really killed off Sunfyre then that's a pretty big change from the book (please put spoilers in tags.)

I like the show but also there's only 3 episodes left this season and it doesn't feel like enough. Then we'll have to wait 2 years+ for more.

If Rhaenyra's going to kiss a girl it should be Alicent!

Alys definitely isn't a ghost since Ser Simon actually mentioned her and I guess she murdered the old Tully.

Seasmoke only wants black guys riding him clearly.

It was funny when Larys was all "I can't possibly be Hand haha" then Aemond was like "no, you can't send for Otto."

The Lannisters bring lions to war with them, what assholes.

It should be a ten episode season.
 
I knew Rhaenyra and Mysaria were going to smooch, eventually.

I can't remember who the Greens are. Is it good or bad that Seasmoke chose that guy?
 
The Greens are Alicent/Aemond/Aegon's side.

The guy Seasmoke chose is the bastard son of Corlys (same as the guy shaving his head), making him the half brother of Seasmoke's previous rider Laenor.
 
That was some very good looking dragon CGI. Hugh seems like a solid guy but letting Ulf have one seems like a mistake! The ending made it look like Dragonstone is right next to King's Landing but it isn't really!

Oscar Tully was cool! He's the ancestor of Catelyn and therefore Sansa and Arya (and the boys I guess) so that makes sense!

I thought Alicent was going to kill herself even though that wouldn't have made much sense since I'm pretty sure she doesn't die yet (if it all, no spoilers.)
 
Very good episode 8 of 10. Does an excellent job setitng up the no doubt huge battle we'll see next week in episode 9. And I'm sure the fallout in episode 10 will make for a great finale!

Wait...what do you mean THIS was the finale!?

No, but really, what happened. Did they litereally write the scripts for a 10 episode season, then HBO told them they could have 8 and they just kept everything how it was, keeping the last 2 scripts back for season 3? Becasue this did not feel like a finale! Other than the Rhaenyra/Daemon scene it was wall set-up for "next week" (or rather 2026.) It's pretty annoying! I liked the stuff that happened but it really feels like a like a season cut short.

We cut to Rhaena chasing a dragon 5 times in the episode and the pay off is just it roaring at her? That doesn't feel finale worthy! All the talk of the blockade all season and we finally get some movment at the very end of this episode...but then it just ends? Come on. I'm convinced they were cut off and HBO is trying to drag the show out as long as possible.

Also putting Rhys Ifans' name in the opening credits when his only appearance was a few seconds in a cage(?) was some bullshit.

When Heleana was speaking to Daemon in his vision I thought for a second it was going to be Dany.

At least Tyland got to have some fun?

I hope I'm still alive in 2026.
