How long can you go

without making any art before you lose the right to call yourself an artist?

Seems like months since I could be bothered to put something together, either visually or a story

so if you define yourself as an artist, and yet you dont make any art, what does that make you?

I don't think having a dry spell means you stop being an artist. Seems to me that's something that will always be a part of who you are inside and how you relate to the world - regardless of how much you 'produce' on the outside. IMHO, of course.
