How many kids did Mister Tumnus kill before Lucy came along?

I don't think he had met a Son of Adam or Daughter of Eve before Lucy, so I'm going to say none (I'll have to read up on it to verify).

"To be sure, to be sure," said the Faun. "How stupid of me! But I've never seen a Son of Adam or a Daughter of Eve before. I am delighted. That is to say - " and then it stopped as if it had been going to say something it had not intended but had remembered in time. "Delighted, delighted," it went on. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tumnus."

From the start of chapter 2 . . .

Even though he was kind of embarrassed about being associated with the role. I think he mentioned it on Graham Norton.

he was half-nekkid as Tumnus - worth the price of admission right there. Also, he did a good job.

I would see Tumnus's bare chest and that silly scarf and think: "Put on a jacket, that scarf is not keeping you warm! It's been snowing for decades!

Perhaps the scarf is just decoration and a faun's high metabolic rate keeps them warm? Or special magical Narnia snacks?

Happy Saturnalia! Let the debaucheries begin! er, sorry Mr Lewis...got carried away....but I AM curious as to where a fawn (Pan) came from in a Xian allegory.....just sayin...

As far as I was taught, Mr Tumnus represented Judas in the story as he at first betrays Aslan and wants to kidnap Lucy. This is until Aslan appears out of the fire and he repents, but loses his life as a result.

However, I always thought Mr Tumnus could represent the apostle Paul, who at first worked against Christianity but then became a Christian himself.

So far as to why he used a faun in the allegory, it is the first creature Lucy as well as the reader encounters in the book, so perhaps he wished to enchant those reading the story. Entice them to read further. However, fauns are also capable of guiding humans in need, similar to the apostle Paul and his missionary work leading people to Christianity.

I guess it depends on how you as the reader interpret it. I just read the book for the whimsy.

The more time I spend on the internet the more I realize my childhood is going to end up completely and utterly ruined.

Oh, well.

If that's already ruining your childhood memories, then by no means should you ever google Sesame street with safe search off. Srsly.

I've seen enough of Rule 34 material that all childhood television is not in a way ruined, but dirty images pop up in my head if I see clips.

So far as I can tell, there's no Smoggies porn . . .

Yep. I really can't watch Kermit without gagging anymore after having watched a particularly inventive porn flick a few years back.
