How many senses do humans really have?

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
We all know it's more than just fives. There's...

Sight
Touch
Hearing
Smell
Taste
Temperature
Balance
Pain
Needing to poo and pee
Spidey Sense
Being able to sense the correct order in terms of attractiveness from looking at a list of female celebrity names (most don't have this)

What else?

Common sense
Sixth sense
In sense

Sense of humour

Sense of Irony. The ironic thing is that almost no one knows what irony really means.

I can finally sense auras, its true. I can sense the field of energy around your body.

LOL would that be sixth sense?

I would really rather like to sense your ariolas!

What about the sense of arrousal? The sense of fear? What about the silly sense? and the Sixth spence?

The sense of taste (aesthetic and aural).
Gaydar.
Some blind people can do echo-location.
The sense of looking at your phone just before you receive a text and smiling/thinking of a friend and then seeing their name pop up on msn and smiling.

If you can smell semen, see semen, feel semen and taste semen, then you have probably come to your senses.

Think you of the fact that a deaf person cannot hear. Then, what deafness may we not all possess? What senses do we lack that we cannot see and cannot hear another world all around us?

I got about fitty-tree sense.

I've noticed they haven't had Rory McGrath back recently (then again I'd rather watch him than that big-eared boy from Doctor Who.)

Oh, Russell Tovey... yeah, he was a bit limp, but somehow still came second behind David Walliams.

(I don't know why I turned that into a sexual innuendo either)

But Rory McGrath just took over a bit. It's nice to have someone on there who can chat with Stephen and it's nice to hear lots of sciencey facts, but he made all the other people redundant.

Is that when you know that paedophiles have more DNA in common with crabs than with other human beings and, even though there is no real evidence to support this, it is scientific fact?

That's Nonce Sense!
