Why am I having so much trouble emailing a wav file? WHY???? I get the page cannot be displayed using hotmail and I can't get gmail to acknowledge that it's even uploading the file. OMG I'M GONNA BITE SOMEONE'S HEAD OFF, HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE A CHOCOLATE EASTER BUNNY HEAD AND NOT A GROSS HAIRY PERSON HEAD.

ahemmm.. ok if someone has any idea why I might be having problems, such as hotmail is fucked up at the moment please try again later I might settle down and feel better.
 
Cassie, darling, have you any idea how long it will take you to e-mail a .wav file on dial-up!?

It might be easier to file share through a IM program, anyway.
 
Yeah, I know it's gonna take forever I downloaded the Lame_enc thing again so I could convert it to mp3 but for some reason I can't get Audacity to find it!! This is terribly frustrating even after eating a hershey kiss. So the file is only about 5 minutes long and I was going to just wait out the hour or two download.

BUT why won't hotmail upload it? This is hurting my feeble brain.
 
I'm gonna see about finding that Lame_enc thing on my computer.. I used the search thingy and I can't find it anywhere. Is it possible that it was eaten by the black smoke?

Oh, you can't find the program... I gotcha.
 
lame.dll should be stuffed in the same folder as Audacity.
That will make Audacity happy.
 
I know, but I can't figure out where it is on my computer... I've searched using the search thing and it doesn't even show up as having been downloaded anywhere, but I know windows unzipped it but where did it put it? OMG I am going to pull my hair out. LOL

Now I'm trying to figure out where to download it again and I can't find that either!!!
 
Hallelujah.. ok I found the Lame encoder I was typing the name of it in wrong, I've got it converted to mp3 and it's uploading. I SHOULD NEVER GET FRUSTRATED AND TRY TO FIND STUFF ON MY COMPUTER!!!

yay! I'm glad it all turned out. Hotmail is deciding not to send my attachments again...including a resume and cover letter. SWEET.

OMG so someone else is having problems sending attachments with hotmail? I have been trying for hours (literally) to upload an mp3 file and send it along the series of tubes to the person at the other end. Before the file can upload completely I get a the page cannot be displayed page and then I get kick off msn messenger, then when I try to sign back in to msn I get a dns error. SO I've checked my firewall, I did the ipconfig/flushdns thing and I still can't upload the damn file. THEN I tried to send the file using my gmail account and I lost contact with gmail before it was finished.. I'm thinking maybe I have noise on my line or some such shit. WHAT AM I GONNA DO? I'm going to try to upload to savefile.com and if that doesn't work I will just cry and eat chocolate.

I sent it to my friend over msn messenger.. which is much faster for some strange reason, and he used his super fast internets connection to email my file to the place it needed to go. MY CRISIS IS OVER AND i CAN WATCH HEROES NOW.
