Bah humbug indeed. My family is getting together and celebrating Christmas on the 22nd. So I thought I'd be able to relax on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...but Noooooooooo....my mom wants to bake a bajillion cookies and pies those days...and can I relax this week? Nooooo....my mom wants to have the dining room/storage room cleaned out for christmas...or should I say STRESSMAS!

Going to celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. Going to the movies on Christmas Day. Les Miserables. I've not see the story before - surprisingly - but this version has so many actors in it that I like and the trailer of Anne Hathaway's version of I Dreamed a Dream is very compelling.

I'll be working Christmas, but hopefully the schedulers aren't dicks and I get off around 11 or so. Then off to my sister's where everybody will have had a beautiful homecooked breakfast whereas I will have eaten lasagna provided by the office.

The Thanksgiving people got barbecue. It's a conspiracy.

The good thing is since Christmas falls on a Tuesday, I don't have to go back to work til Thursday.

My friend and I want to see Les Mis, so hopefully that's in the cards.
