I battle it out until we get down to 10 players. All of the other 9 start negotiating a "chop". A split up of the prize pool then to end the tourney.
They all reach agreement and call the floor over. I don't think anyone realizes that no one asked my opinion. The floor ask each person in order if they agree. They get to me and I say NO.
I had each of them give me an extra $100 and I did not have to sign for any of the prizes that require a 1099 for taxes. A $5,900 score!!!
