I downloaded this Accelerando thing but I have no idea when I'll read it (if before death.)
 
It'll give you a whole new idea about death to obsess over!

Glasshouse is only a loose sequel to Accelerando, so it won't matter if you guys skip the first book and jump into the second one. It's set in the same universe after humans have become obsolete in Earth's solar system. I think it follows the escapees who ran after the singularity. I'll order it!

I've read it, it's about a group of people put in a simulation of what life was like in their past (our present). Apparently after the singularity, most of the records were lost due to file format problems or other issues. I've haven't read Accelerando yet, but my local bookstore had a copy and I'm picking it up soon.

Yeah, I read all my books on paper, preferably a good old paperback that I can crack the spine on while I'm reading it.
 
I read 8 different books on 8 different types of media for 8 hours a day.

Today is the day the 2 Sookie Stackhouse books are in!!
p.s. I was looking up a phone number for something and saw there are 2 Stackhouses in the phone book! ...coincidence? I THINK SO!
 
YOu should call the numbers and see if they know anyone who's come out of the coffin recently.
