I don't know very many people who actually have a birthday today. Make that one.
we're not big on April Fool jokes up here...it's pretty much a non-event.
 
I was going to post this very same thread. I hate April Fool's as well.

I had made up my mind to simply stay off the Internet for 24 hours, but of course that proved to be impossible. IT IS IN MY BLOOD.

I'll still be around on the spare for the next couple of days. Luckily, the useless fart that is Further has decided to drift back after a long time in purgatory, so you have just as big a twat as me as a replacement.
 
^just make sure it's in good fettle for World Cup. I enjoy our Global Pub viewings (and that of course includes Menty's comments & and play by plays). Someone else joined in on those IIRC...not that precious twit who keeps trying to troll via footy, but someone else...

My son, on the other hand, loved it. I loved pranking and getting pranked.

I'm switching over from Virgin to Sky, and Sky bollocksed the booking up for BT Open Reach to come round and put a BT line in. They don't come until April 21st (after initially telling me April 3rd - tomorrow), after that I have to re-contact Sky so they can come round and see to the Broadband.

The T-Mobile Stick I'm using is actually quite fast considering it's on dialup, so I'll have the spare between now and then, but to be honest, I can use the break.

As for my main PC - it shorted as I had it fixed a while back, and the fan wasn't put back properly, and it damaged a chip behind it, which has fallen out of it's soldered fitting. Alas, I can't take it back to the business and yell at them, because they've subsequently gone bust.
