I FUCKING HATE HEROES

He could do better.
 
I thought Hiro could have teleported Adam to the moon or something, somehow I dont think being buried six feet underground when he should be able to batter his way out, cant sufforcate, and people can hear him above the ground, is going to keep him out of harms way for long.
 
I bought season 1 a while back, and I'm slowly making my way through it. A friend and I have been watching it together, so it's whenever we can get together that I watch it.

I think I'm on disc 5 of 7.

I'm didn't watch/don't plan to watch season 2 on TV. If I like season 1 by the end of it as much as I do right now, I'll probably just buy 2 when it comes out on DVD.

I don't think I could stand waiting for the next week.
 
It's a good show, just a bit overrated, hence the reactionary thread title.

The season two finale was okay, except Mohinder didn't die.
 
I'm sure he tried his best.

I liked how in the last few episodes of season 2 Mohinder just got beaten up all the time, although it did make it completely impossible to take him seriously with that patch on his nose.

The ending of the season is pretty good, although in a way it's similar to season one since SPOILER DON'T READ THIS CACOPHONY we're made to wonder if Nathan's alive or dead (even though, again, he's bound to be alive). Also very annoying that they killed off that stupid bitch twin only to bring her back.
 
The thing is, anyone can be just brought back to life now by Claire's "magic blood" so it's not much of a cliffhanger.
 
I should just stay out of this thread FOREVER.

They're gonna have to find a way of nullifying that. Maybe Claire will get a strain of the virus that makes it impossible for other people to be healed by her blood, or some over contrivance. They can't carry on resurrecting everybody.
 
or, they can not just bring it up until they want to again...

Yeah, Adam got me wondering if the writers slipped up. The Company must've known that his blood could heal people, and I'm sure there are some cases in the first season (when I think Adam was still locked up) where people died and they would've logically used the blood.

Still, if they don't find a way to cancel out the effects of the blood in the third season, then they'll have to come up with very contrived reasons why it's not available (having Claire disappear off somewhere would do), or fans will call bullshit.
 
see for me it really simple
i do not expect the show to make a lot of sense
since it is about people with super powers in the first place
its a glorified comic book
a great glorified comic book
but one cannot expect too much logical consistency from such...

Well, if not for consistency reasons, then at least for dramatic reasons. The fact that even main characters aren't invincible is part of what makes shows like Lost, BSG and Heroes exciting for a lot of people. If we know the heroes can be brought back to life even if they die will just suck the drama out of the show.
 
All American TV shows can blame any 2007-2008 season suckage on the writers' strike.

But come this September, they're on their own.
 
Peter trusting Adam so easily was stupid too.
