Can't remember when or if people were assholes after 9-11 (I'm sure some were) but I remember when the shuttle blew up people were making Christa McAuliffe jokes within a few hours. I usually thanked them for displaying their idiocy so quickly and saving me precious time in discovering they were idiots on my own. Every dumbass always thinks rolling out jokes like this makes him edgy, but let's be fair: in Gilbert's case, are we really shocked to find out he's a dumbass? It's not like he's been hiding it all these years...
