I don't know if y'all know that I'm a book reviewer on the side (along with skank and captionist) but I've been in a reading funk. Everything I've reviewed has been blah, and from authors I normally enjoy.

I enjoyed The Cat Who series by Lillian Jackson Braun, but in recent years the books have not been up to what they used to be.

What does Tis have against Stephanie Meyer? Books 1 and 3 of the Twilight saga were very good. Two and 4 disappoint, they just drag on an on but you have to read the whole saga, IT'S THE LAW!

Try The Host by Stephanie Meyer, it's got aliens and is supposed to be for adults.

Or one of my all time favorite authors Hollis Gillespie, she's hilarious!
